“If you could combine elements of earth, air, fire and water into one product this would be the result. The color spectrum borrows from nature and ranges from rich earthy browns and blacks to the cool liquid tones of ocean and sand.”
Eye-catching, jaw-dropping, and breathtaking are not only words that nearly anyone would hope to describe their most significant other with, but words also quite apropos to decorative wall choice one chooses for their homes, or hopes to. At times, tile can either seem like a union of cracked eternal sadness or one of blissful gladness. And with some backsplashing options the thought of ’til death do you part seems an almost unfathomably unfashionable one. However, for every individual who has held their peace and remained silent with their antiquated asylums there is hope still. If you are looking for contemporary contentment than the Anatolia Bliss glass line will surely be the perfect marriage of the two.
“Bliss is a blend of glass and stone that could make any tile or stone area appealing. A combination of the most common colors used makes Bliss very versatile. Bliss is offered in 8 colors and 2 sizes, 5” 8” X 5” 8” and staggered linear,” says an Anatolia Bliss representative.
“The appeal of the Anatolia Bliss line is that it blends the best of both glass and stone into a prefabricated product. If you could combine elements of earth, air, fire and water into one product this would be the result. The color spectrum borrows from nature and ranges from rich earthy browns and blacks to the cool liquid tones of ocean and sand. The blend of two disparate, but complementary materials offer the textural strength of stone and the light play/color variation of glass. The juxtaposition of opaqueness and translucence is both dynamic and wonderfully calming. There is a lot to work with in a line with such characteristics.

Because the scale of the material is in keeping with a more contemporary look, and adaptable to both small and large locations, …this product would be most ideal for a more modern design aesthetic. For a large modern loft or even a small condominium that wants that extra touch of visual excitement, the Anatolia Bliss mosaic would offer a jolt of visual pop to an otherwise minimalistic space.
The design possibilities are endless. It would be perfect in a myriad of applications including a family room fireplace surround, a kitchen backsplash or a spa-like shower enclosure. [one might also be] drawn to the random linear mosaic which would work well on a very large scale application such as a grand entry wall or a high fireplace wall with a monolithic hearth. It would be superb on the rise of a set of exterior stone cap steps and lit with walkway lights to bring out the sparkle of the glass.
Another idea is to apply the mosaic to the face of a kitchen island or bar that faces an entryway to give a strong textural statement. The 5/8″ mosaic would be amazing on a curved divider wall in any room and if applied as the face of a swimming pool it would be stunning.
The Anatolia Bliss mosaic line has the best of all tools in the designer’s arsenal, a keen visual interest, a rich palette and a scale flexible enough to utilize it in a number of creative applications limited only by the imagination,” says Lisa Gillespie of Lisa Gillespie Interior Designer.
